HEY UCO, WELCOME TO
IRON HOUSE!
We want to help you win with enrollment.
We believe UC Online has what it takes to be the top organization in the country.
Why? Because it's made of INCREDIBLE people.
From the faculty to the students and Alumni, every person has a great story to tell of UC's legacy.
People just need to hear about it.
WE MADE YOU THIS GUIDE.
In this guide, you'll find examples of video content and which stage of the marketing process they belong. Some is a celebration of what you've done, others are aspirational.
Theme: Passion, Curiosity, Thought-Leading
STAGE 1:
AWARENESS
At the top of the funnel, we want to make a great first impression! Use video to capture attention, and present emotion, rather than features. Somewhere between Entertaining and Educational is the sweet spot. The more REAL the better. Think authentic, passionate people with stories and subject matter expertise that are actually interesting.

RECOMMENDATION: Brand-Focused Projects such as brand videos or Subject Matter Videos from Passionate Thought-Leaders

AWARENESS EXAMPLES:
Pharmacy Brand Video
Master's in Sports Administration: Brand Video
Purdue Campaign Brand Video
Exxon Thought Leadership
Theme: Education, Reputation
STAGE 2:
CONSIDERATION
Now we want to answer questions.
Answer any lingering questions in their minds, (what's Online education like, Will my credits transfer, etc.). Then, give them confidence in the quality of their potential education. Consider pulling in industry leaders to speak to the quality of candidates from UC's programs.

RECOMMENDATION: Explainer Projects, Demos/Tutorials, Day in the Life of Students, Industry-Leader Testimonials, FAQ's
CONSIDERATION EXAMPLES:
Christy's Story:
What are my Professors like?
I.T. FAQ's: Explainer Video
Web Builder Explainer
Round-Table:
Industry Leaders + Professors
STAGE 3:
CONVERSION
Theme: Confidence, Reliability

To convert, people want to know, "Have other people experienced this?"
Use positive testimonial stories to help alleviate any lingering anxieties. Remember, a degree means serious life change - People love knowing they're not alone in the experience.

RECOMMENDATION: Testimonials
CONVERSION EXAMPLES:
Ana's Story
Janey's Story (Faculty)
Brandon's Story
Jennifer's Story
